You're probably low on Power Steering fluid. I would purchase a bottle of Lucas brand power steering fluid stop leak and conditioner, available at Walmart or auto parts stores almost everywhere. You could have issues with the front suspension (such as sway bar links) if this is not the case, and you would want to have those professionally replaced.
Have the speed sensor replaced.
