All cats are different. Some cats, such as the Tonkinese, are quiet, and only meow when something is seriously wrong. The Siamese just happens to be one of those cats that just talks for the sake of it.

Either it's genetic, or it's something they learn from their mothers. But they are definitely very vocal and love to chat. It may be related to the fact that they love attention and interacting with their favorite people.
