Contamination from oil or grease?
Non-asbestos brake pads were introduced in the 1990s. At first they were not suitable for use in heavy-duty vehicles. As a result, asbestos brake pads were not suddenly eliminated, but slowly phased out.

Your brake might grab when going downhill because the pads are wearing out. The lines may also need bled properly.
check the adjustment of the brake pads or shoes, check the metering valve or you might have contaminated brake pads/shoes
Brake pads are part of the cars disk brakes. There are four different brake pads they are semi-metallic brake pads, organic brake pads, low-metallic NAO brake pads and ceramic brake pads.
