When two evenly matched, well armed animals fight, there is a danger that both may be injured. Therefore many such animals have developed a series of ritual postures and sounds that show off their size and intent for aggression before the physical battle starts. Hopefully during this display a weaker animal will recognise the strength of the other and flee before any fight starts.
They hiss when they are angry or uncomfortable. The reason they purr is because of the vibration in their body and the sound that moves throughout. So don't worry, if your cat purrs its normal ;)
hope this helped ;)
cats hiss when you are you close or threatened in their point of feel or just what you to leave
Cats will hiss at humans when they feel threatened or just want to be left alone.
A cat makes hissing noises indicating that it is unhappy about something. If one approach it when it is unhappy, he/she may be bitten by it. Therefore, be noticed when a cat hisses.
Self defence.
they dont like each other
Cats normally do not hiss or spit unless they feel highly threatened. Much of the sounds you hear during a cat fight are intended to make the other cat scared enough to back down and go away. Cats fight much more through making sounds than by physical attacks.
Sometimes yes. Sometimes they hiss, spit, snarl, or growl. They also yowl when they are very surprised too like if someone steps on their tail or other limbs. Hope that helped!:)
Why do you think cats have claws and teeth? They are for hunting, but also are used in combat. First a cat will look threatening, puff out and hiss and spit. If that fails, a fight will start. If it feels it is loosing, it will flee.
No o.O
Us Greeks spit on each other for good luck.
Llamas spit only when they are mistreated, or extremely annoyed. They will generally only spit at each other to form a hierarchy.
When fighting, they lay back their ears, their fur stands up on their backs, and they bare their teeth and spit. When frolicking, they scamper about and even roll around but don't spit or bite.
yes, my alpacas fight over food- they are very mean to each other and will spit and kick and sometimes buck at each other.
When llamas get annoyed they lay down, hiss, spit, kick, and refuse to move. What do you do when you get annoyed?
No. Cats do not produce venom.
