Turn you car key half way so that all your dash lights light up. Whatever looks like an engine is it.
Check to see if brake lights are working - shift interlock and they are usually on the same circuit - check fuse
the battery may not have enough energy to turn on the lights. an is the engine turning over completely at the rate that it should be or is it struggling to turn? also check all of your fuses
In this order only. Turn engine off. Depress parking brake. Turn engine on. Lights will turn off. To turn lights back on relase parking brake.
If the check engine lights are on, that means that there is something wrong. A mechanic can check and tell what is wrong with the car.
This could indicate a low state of charge for the battery.
No. That's very abnormal.
Turn your engine off, check the gas cap and restart your car. If that doesn't work, be more specific about which car you have or check your owners maunal.
yes, because your lights run on your car battery
The engine will go into "limp" mode and it will turn on the check engine light.
If there is no problem with the car then go ask a technician at your local dealer to shut it off. But usually it lights up because there's a problem.
I have run into the same thing with this kind of car. On the steering column at the top they have a switch that will turn the running lights on or turn them off. check the switch you may have hit it and turn it on.
