They can either get it out of a hay net, off the floor, out of someones hand or in a food bowl.
Get some dog food. Put it in a bowl. Then give it to your dog
Just to be annoying.
It depends on the type of dog. Some dogs can smell their food in a bowl from 10 to 20 feet away. They can be in another close room and smell it. Some other dogs that have stronger eye sight or hearing may only smell it 5 to 10 feet away.
Between 2 and 6 dollars.
Any dog that has not been trained to allow humans near their food bowl will have food possessiveness.
because the dog is trying to lick the water and its tongue rubes against the bottom of the bowl, as it empties it gets lighter and the dogs tongue now moves the bowl eventually knocking it over.
Image result for how should i feed my dog answer Dogs can be very messy eaters, spilling food all around the floor and even on the walls, so make sure there's nothing near your dog's eating area that can be damaged. We recommend putting his food bowl near his water bowl, which should always be there, cleaned often and filled with fresh water.
I wish I knew. My Lab mutt mix goes through a routine of touching his nose to the food, touching his nose to the floor, then bumping the bowl with his nose. Funny, weird, and a complete mystery.
i have greyhounds and pet dogs and we always leave the dog bowl on the ground and it makes no difference to them.
they will eat from a food bowl, same as fully grown dogs (:
