Well it depends on how the guy is or where he is saying it. Maybe he is with his friends and is just trying to play a little joke on you. (which is pretty sad if u actually like this guy) But if its on the phone you can not be sure.
If it is in person and he sounds sincere maybe he actually likes you.(: But just always make sure that he is not someone that will hurt you if the future if you really like him .

Answertheres is a chance that he's telling the truth but there is also a chance that he's joking if he askes you face-to-face he's telling the truth but if he does it over the internet theres a chance that its a joke and if he does it over the phone ask him how much he wants you to be his and if it takes him a while to answer then hes only jokingWiki User
