The Emperor Constantine lived in the first century AD and is known for a variety of historically significant facts. He is considered the founder of the Roman and Byzantine church, credited with being the first world leader to effectively legalize Christianity. His reign saw civil war within the Roman Empire and thus he is said to have had a huge impact on European history. If you've ever heard of Constantinople (now called Istanbul, in Turkey), it was named after him.
Jean Baptiste Point du Sable is consider too be the founder of Chicago.
There is no founder of New Rome because Rome can't be founded twice. If it was then the 2nd one would be a copier of the first and only Rome. Thank you very much if you don't agree then don't read this. Its as easy as that. The real answer is that Constantine decided to move the administrative capital of the Empire to the Greek City of Byzantium. He called it by his own name Constantinopolis but also he called it New Rome. He moved some of the historic treasures from Rome itself (which by that time was like modern Detroit, a shadow of its former self).
Justinian I

I think you are trying to ask, "Who was the founder?" and most historians consider this to be Abraham, the twelve tribes of Israel descending from his descendants.
The three candidates for the title of 'Greatest Early Byzantine Emperor' would most likely be Constantine I, founder of Constantinople; Justinian I, who built the Hagia Sophia and reclaimed large parts of the Western Empire; and Heraclius I, who led a brilliant military campaign which brought the Empire back from the brink of destruction against the Persians but ultimately was defeated by the first wave of Islamic expansion

Jains do believe that there is no real founder of Jainism as it is an eternal religion. They have 24 tirthankaras of whom Lord Rishabha is considered to be the first one and is accounted as the founder and preacher of Jainism in this kaal (jain division of time). However, some of the modern historians believe that Lord Parshwnath (23rd Tirthankar of Jains) was the founder of Jainism.
There is no founder of the eastern Roman empire. The Roman empire was divided into east and west by historians, not Romans. This was done for ease in relating events that occurred in either the west or the east. For example, when the western part of the empire fell to the barbarians, the Romans considered it a loss of territory, not a loss of half of an empire as some historians did. There is no founder of the eastern Roman empire. Perhaps the early Alchemists, although what they were trying to achieve was impossible for the time, they were entrepreneurs.

Constantine 57th Emperor of the Roman Empire. Constantine the Great (Latin: Flavius Valerius Aurelius Constantinus Augustus; 27 February c. 272 - 22 May 337), also known as Constantine I or Saint Constantine, was Roman Emperor from 306 to 337. Well known for being the first Roman emperor to convert to Christianity, Constantine and co-Emperor Licinius issued the Edict of Milan in 313, which proclaimed tolerance of all religions throughout the empire. Constantine defeated the emperors Maxentius and Licinius during civil wars. He also fought successfully against the Franks, Alamanni, Visigoths, and Sarmatians during his reign - even resettling parts of Dacia which had been abandoned during the previous century. Constantine built a new imperial residence at Byzantium, naming it New Rome. However, in Constantine's honor, people called it Constantinople, which would later be the capital of what is now known as the Byzantine Empire for over one thousand years. Because of this, he is thought of as the founder of the Byzantine Empire. Just a footnote to Constantine's religious beliefs. There is no historical proof that Constantine ever converted to Christianity. All we have is the story spread around by his friend the biship Eusebius, who had his own agenda. It is true that Constantine was tolerant of Christianity as well as all the other religions, but scholars are questioning his so-called death bed conversion.
No, ...Christianity existed long before this though, and many previous Roman Emperors persecuted against Christians as it claimed an authority other than themselves.
