there should be a permanent live feed to the stereo to maintain its memory, it has either failed or has been fitted incorrectly. there should also be a switched live, which there obviously is or it wouldn't work at all, memory live wires are usually coloured red or orange and should be permanently live and fused with a 3 amp fuse

You don't say if it was a Bluetooth. If so, go into settings and to Bluetooth settings. Remove the setting for the stereo. Now, it will be gone.

You should spawn, if you cant, you are ether doing it wrong or your game has a huge bug. For the reset of settings, this should not happen. However, change your brightness settings, save it, turn your Xbox off and restart xbox and the game. See if it saves, if so, you are fine.
