Why do kittens run around all night?

Because cat's are rightfully nocternal animals (night time animals).

Cats sleep for twelve hours everyday, eight of those hours are through the day. At night, a cat wakes up and wants to play. Kittens are worse as they are young and full of energy. Plus, cats prefer to hunt at night, so the kittens will be practising to hunt each other.

My cats are just as bad :)

Nt totally. They will run away for a little while to mate, but they will not run away to have kittens. Often times the male will come back for the female if she is pregnant. I know because it has happend to me with my female cat.

Well, you will probably need a post, a bed, a litter box, a food and water bowl, some toys , and places to run around in.

Hamsters are nocturnal. They love to play, dig, try to escape, move things around in their cages, drink water, eat, and run in their wheels at night. Every hamster I have ever had played and made noise at night.

Because you have a heat pump and they run darn near all the time when it is cold out side.

Plug it in or extra battery pack.

they are nocturnal which means they rest at day and run around and hunt at night. its totally normal but you should make sure you are putting a uvb light on it at night time it is really important.

No. Not usually anyway. Kittens are unable to walk until they're at least 3 weeks old, however most kittens are only able to run at 5 weeks, and leap and jump in a coordinated manner at 5-6 weeks. By 6 weeks, kittens have the ability to turn in mid-air and usually land on their feet when falling. So if your kittens aren't running around and playing yet at 3 weeks, don't freak out, they aren't old enough to be doing that yet. If they were, I'd be freaking out in a good way, because they're like super kittens. But don't force them or anything, obviously.

A cat in heat will be howling, spraying, and rolling around everywhere, also trying to run out and away if she is an inside cat. If she is an outside cat get ready to have kittens.
