Why do many women man bash?

I assume you mean 'bash' in the plain, literal sense of assault. To a large extent, women can get away with attacking men physically - and some women have worked this out and gleefully exploit it. 'Professionals' in the field of abuse (like social workers, the police and judges) are often still almost entirely attuned to violence from men only. Moreoever, if a man defends himself physically he runs the risk of the whole thing being turned against him. The woman can easily claim that he's the stereotypical violent male, that he attacked her and that she had to defend herself. Having said this, there are a few 'professionals' in the field who are sometimes able to work out when the woman's story doesn't ring true, but they are rare. If you're married to or living with a 'hubby-basher', get out. You can't win. This only means that it's common for women to be angry with their boyfriends or husbands and nothing more. Jokes are made of it (but men can make jokes about women.) Most men are quieter about such things and often don't discuss it with their buddies. Women are much more verbal and will discuss it with other women. It doesn't mean to say she doesn't love the man she's with. There are times when my husband can get under my skin (and I am sure vice-versa) and I'll sound-off to one of my girlfriends and she'll tell me a funny story about her husband. It's only a way of venting your frustrations for the lack of understanding. Men aren't always noted for being the best communicators. I really liked the poster who made the former point gaven that the law often will side with the woman when it comes to violence against men (and there it's lots of it believe it or not) but at least in British Columbia this is changing. The laws here are basically the same for a woman who is violent against her male partner as is a male partner being abusive against his woman partner. Unfortunately, women and men bash the opposite sex because of a bad experience they had with one or numerous ones. I never liked it myself when someone groups all because of the few. Instead, of this person realizing that they are making bad personal choices with whom they relate to they turn to the blame game. I believe it all starts with how they were brought up to handle their feelings. Which if they believe all men are bad they obviously haven't been around any positive, productive, loving males. Some times the bashing helps the person to justify their own negative feelings or again bad choices. There is a right and wrong way to do everything in this world you just go to know which one is for you. Just know that there are women out there that don't blame all their ills on every man, and I am one of them and have many girlfriends that don't feel that way either. Sounds like its time for you to change who you associate with and find some positive, productive, loving women and they my friend will show you a whole new world. good luck.
