I assume for the same reason native English speakers mix English with whatever language they're learning. This is just something people do. Once you get good enough to do so, you begin speaking a foreign language (in this case including English, if that is not your native tongue) conversationally - and when speaking conversationally, you probably just say the first word you think of, whatever language it's in.

I know French and am learning Chinese, and often, even while speaking in English, the first version of a word I will think of is in one of those languages. I say "mais" a lot ('but' in French), and I say "zenmeyang" (which is a Chinese phase with no one translation, but means 'how is that?' or 'is that okay?')

Albanian-American: I personally don't, unless there is a word I don't remember in the other language and I'm talking to a person that knows both languages (so, my parents). But the previous person is right too... there is some words you get use to and use regardless... granted, this works for me in the reverse, as I use "yup" even when I'm speaking Albanian, but I could see the reverse.

Non-native English speakers may mix English with their native language, known as code-switching, due to factors such as thinking more quickly in their native language, wanting to express a concept more accurately, or feeling more comfortable using certain expressions in their native language. Code-switching can also be a natural part of bilingual communication and may help individuals navigate complex ideas or emotions more effectively.

What two types of grammatical errors is a nonnative speakers of English likely to make?

This will depend very much on what language is their native language. For instance, Russian speakers usually use articles (a, an, the) incorrectly because Russian doesn't have them. Another common error is using the wrong preposition, because prepositions don't match up across languages - I am afraid BEFORE him instead of the correct English OF him.
