Some people who are uninformed or misinformed feel free to take their feelings out on anyone in uniform. Although many of us may disagree with US Military Policy, it is never appropiate to take it out on any individual in service. These people put their lives on the line for their country, and if some of the public don't appreciate that, they can at least respect it . There are other forums available to express anti-government sentiments.The man that spat on the Marine should have been arrested.

Unfortunately, there are just a lot of ignorant, ill-mannered people in this world and the guy who walked up to the soldier and spit in his face is one of them. He SHOULD have been arrested for assault. I hope he enjoys his nose.
