Why do people make a big deal about gays but not about lesbians?

People dont understand that it`s kinda the same i mean common girls are doin the same thing but no one gets on to them or looks down on them. If i were a guy and i was gay i would feel terrible because im treated like crap. And no one understands unless their gay. Why do you think there are so many deaths? Most of those deaths include people who were either bullied or gay or even "sometimes" lesbian. I feel horrible when i see people getting bullied because of their sexuality. I know so many people who are afraid of coming out and saying their gay because their afriad of losing friends and or being bullied but most likely they are going tobe bullied unless someones stops that. So no one really has a reason to care more about someone being gay rather than lesbian. That doesnt mean go out and just start making fun of lesbians. Just try and put yourself and their shoes and maybe you will think twice befor you say anything that could push the over the egde and make them do something you cant reverse.

If God did make gays and lesbians, he made them like everyone else. But he never destroyed them. There have always been gay and lesbian people, even up to today.

There really isn't too many actually; gays, lesbians, and bisexuals are a minority to straight people. It could just be that you live in an area were gays, lesbians, and bisexuals are very concentrated for whatever reason, probably just chance.

I am not sure were you live. Check out local gay magazines or gay listings. Try Parents of friends of lesbians and gays. they will be able to help you find organizations where lesbians and gays meet. Also google search gay organizations and your city or state and you will find something. One last thing don't be ashamed about being gay. Spare your self the agony of self hate of being gay. All it will do is make your miserable and nobody really needs or wants that.

Unfortunately, for gay men the only current way to achieve this is to pretend one is straight. Lesbians have it much easier: all they have to do is make out with one another in the company of males or other lesbians. both gays and lesbians use toilets as do you or I, but a urinal is a fine substitute (for lesbians.) in all seriousness, this is a dumb question. They are normal people and should be treated as such, they have no 'specific needs'.
