Why do people on WikiAnswers just get the answers from other sites?

There are different answers possible.
- Laziness. (Copy and Paste)
- Lack of knowledge.
With the above two are also several answers possible.
- They are curious about the answer.
- Willing to be helpful.
And in some cases, pretending to be smart.

Why do people search for answers on WikiAnswers?
Because they dont trust other sites to give them correct infomation.

There are many websites similar to WikiAnswers. Quora is very similar to WikiAnswers. It has more features than WikiAnswers, but not as large of a user base. Aardvark is a Q&A service that is designed to get answers fast and it works well, but you can't search for questions on it that have already been answered. Yahoo answers is also like WikiAnswers, except it allows people to post separate answers to questions rather than have everyone edit one unified answer. Other sites: "Yahoo Answers" "Answer Bag" IBOBO

Yahoo! Answers is also a good site, other than WikiAnswers. But I recommend WikiAnswers over Yahoo! Answers. WikiAnswers is the best Q&A site and it has the best community. Yahoo! Answers isn't always correct, as well, and you cannot change the answers or spellings on there. On WikiAnswers, you can edit about everything to make the site better. Yahoo! Answers you can't, and it is a poor Q&A site.
