"Never say never" means anything is possible so that is what the term means. If you say something to a person you know quite well "Don't wait for me because I'll never fall in love you." The person could say, "Never say never!" Sometimes we just don't know our own minds or what our future holds in store for us so you just NEVER know if you could fall in love with this person in the future. Life has many roads and sometimes they meet when you least expect it.
