ARMPIT HAIR I've been in West Virginia and Western Maryland and I've see many working ladies with armpit hair. Being a guy, I was not used to seeing it on women, especially with sleeveless tops. It is not as bad as you think. Young women in our society are shaving everything including the pubic area.
from a girls perspective i think you definitely should because its not the best look...the gorilla. it would not only do you a favor but many others too because TRUST ME guys do not like looking at girls manly armpit hair
You're wrong lady, I'm a man and I like girls with hairy armpits and trust me I'm not the only one. I'm a french painter and I have paint many hairy girls. If it's not due to social pressure, if it's really a personal choice I totally respect the persons who choose to shave.

∙ 10y agoYou would shave your armpits like you would anywhere else. I prefer to do it in the tub or shower, but you can do it over a sink as well. It works best if you are ambidextrous and can use both hands fairly well. If you've had a stroke, you might need someone to help you on the side of your "good" arm.
What you do is to hold up the arm you are going to shave, dampen the armpit, and put shaving cream on it. If you haven't shaven there in a while, then I would start with a single bladed razor and go with the grain. Then if you know you don't break out or get ingrown hairs easy, then you can shave against the grain or even use a multiple blade razor. If the razor stops up, you can back the razor up to free the trapped stubble, then make a pass over the stubble that came out, then rinse the razor. Backing up the razor from time to time keeps trapped stubble out of the razor. Then when you are done, you would rinse the area if you are in the tub, or use a wet cloth to do so if you are over the sink. Then you may want to use some sort of astringent such as aftershave, rubbing alcohol, or toner, and perhaps moisturize if that is your fancy.
