* Eye freckles are areas of the eye where the overlaying "skin" is thin enough that it becomes transparent. The freckles or spots that are visable are usually gray and are actually inside the eyeball.
I'm one of those people and I've alway wondered that myself...it's sort of hard to tell. I would assume that as a child maybe one side of the face was exposed to more UV light than the other, resulting in production of melanin which eventually clumped due to overproduction. However I am uncertain.
damage from UV rays
No, all people do not have freckles. While most people have birth marks, not all have freckles.

No, I do not believe that all Irish people have freckles around their eyes. Everybody is different. the reason people getfreckles, is they are born with it, or they're out in the sun a lot. its HIGHLY POSSIBLE that lots of Irish people have them if you think that, but mostly because they are in the sun a lot and their parents had them, then their kids' had them, then their kids' had them etc.to where finally many people in Ireland might have freckles around they're eyes. But as far as i know, no, not all Irish people have freckles around their eyes.Another AnswerAccording to a Harvard University anthropological survey (Hooton) 40% of Irish had some degree of freckling and 60% had none at all.
Yes, some Dutch people may have freckles, but not all of them. Freckles are determined by genetics and can appear in people of any ethnicity.
There is no definite amount of freckles that one can have. Freckles can be natural or caused by excessive sun exposure.

your hair is orange, orangy-red or orangy-brown. ---- You must have redish hair, and some have freckles and blue eyes. It is believed that all gingers have freckles and blue eyes, but that is not true...
Freckles may fade away but some freckles stay throughout adulthood. Being in the sun helps some people's freckles fade and others become worse. Freckles are an acceptable and natural part of some peoples faces.
No, you don't get freckles from sunburn, but for some people when they try to tan, they get freckles instead of a tan. So I hope I answered your question. ~Gigglybeth :)
