I dont have an answer but I am having the same problem. My car wouldn't start but when I turned the key, the lights (hazard and dash lights) started blinking. I think it's a warning that the battery is not completely connected. We tightened the clamps (which were very loose) and it stopped.
Check headlights and dashboard lights first. If no/minimal power for the lights then replace battery.
You probably have a bad ground. Check the grounds on the brake lights.
i have a 1995 Honda accord 4 cylinder v tec the tail lights sides lights and the dash lights stays on at all times have already replaced the headlight switch and still have the same proplome
check the fuses and check the bulbs.
I had a similar situation with my 2000 Accord. The brake, battery, and door lights all came on and stayed on. I did a little research online and then called my dealer's service department to verify. There are two possibilities; the alternator or the battery. I could be as simple as needing to clean your battery terminal posts. I popped my hood and found a lovely shade of blue-green coating my connection. I cleaned it off and the lights went out. I probably need a new battery soon, but my lights went off!
The warning lights on a Honda Accord are the same as the warning lights on most other cars.
If you use turtle wax it will clean it up pretty good if it from the outside of theheadlights
Can be a dead cell in the battery. If so the battery will have to be replaced. Can also be any light that is pulling power from the battery. Check all lights. Under hood, glove box, dome light, trunk, etc. Disconnect the negative battery cable overnight and if the battery is dead then the battery has a dead cell and must be replaced.
Check your battery, it may be weak or dead and needs to be replaced.
A Low battery could cause this - try getting a jump from someone, when it is cold the battery will, if they are low sometimes, not have the cranking power needed to turn over a cold engine. To test if your battery is low turn on your lights if the lights are dim then it is your battery.
All the lights work the voltage is fine and I just replaced the starter. But it registers no CCAs
