there is no real need for fingernails our ancestors like rats possoms and monkeys had nils to fight and open fruit as we evolved our nails grew shorter and now we still use them to peel Oranges

fingernails are for helping us peel fruight and dig and help us grip

it is important to trim your nails because nails are made up of dead cells and also your hair is made up of dead cells so if you dont trim the, you cells wont relgulate

its important to cut your nails often because if you let them grow long they might can cause death but its not bad to have long nails just be careful.

You should keep your finger nails trim so they do not catch so easily to other objects and tear themselves. It is harder to break a nail if they are properly trimmed.
