I believe you mean into the radiator tank. Hopefully you also mean antifreeze and not just water.
The engine has hollow passages around the hottest parts of the motor and the liquid absorbs the heat and flows through the radiator and cools down again.
The reason we use antifreeze now instead of just straight water is because the antifreeze raises the boiling point of the water so the engine can get hotter without overheating and it also has anti rusting chemicals to keep rust from the motor from plugging the radiator core.
Pour 5 gallons into the tank of your fathers car, and you will find out.
damage engine no.. will the engine run no.
Yes, water is considered a fuel contaminant, and can definitely damage a car's engine. Depending on how much water is in the tank there are a couple of options. If there's not too much water you can pour in a fuel additive like "Heet" or "DryGas". These products contain an alcohol that mixes with the water and allows it to burn off safely. However if there's a lot of water you may have to have the tank removed and either cleaned or replaced.
It won't run properly, you'll have to drain the oil all out.
if you mix the ratio right with the gas it will boost power to engine as far as hurting engine i cant see why it would hurt it .
Pour a lot of water in the gas tank. The cars engine will shut down and the engine will have to be drained in order for it to work again. It's a good mischief prank. Don't do it tho because it's not cool ;)

At the radiator or overflow tank. Do not add water, add coolant.
Don't start your car. Get a mechanic to come and take out the gas tank in your car. empty it and clean it out. Also clean out the pipes that go to the tank when you fuel your car. If you have started your car you will have to take out your pistons and clean them and clean all of your fuel pipes.
A full cup of water or less can hurt any car's engine. While some very small amounts of water may find its way into fuel tanks naturally, any more water than this will cause a car serious problems. Should water get into a fuel tank, it is important to get it out again so the car's engine will operate properly. There will be no permanent engine damage. The engine will simply not run.
maybe someone stole your gas tank
you pour warm water on it, but dont get it in the air filter because it will get in your fuel system and mess up your car
