This is the same problem I am having on my 99 Sportage. I think it is a bad crank sensor or possible bad computer. That is why I posted my question, to see if someone else has had the same problem and had it fixed. Worst case we may have a bad wire. I checked all the ground on mine, all look good. I have it jumped to a fused wire with the relay in at this time, it runb and drives good but my gas mileage sucks. Hope we can figure this out soon.
Hi I have a 1999 kia sportage it has no power under acceleration. but run fine in park and when you get up to speed. A damaged catalytic converter can do that.
i think its in the front passenger footwell, to the right near the centre console, i hope this helps
i have a 99 slk 230 fuel pump works fine but no power to it were is the fuse for the pump or a relay to it
If an automatic window will fail to lower on a 1991 Honda Accord than the power winder motor or relay can be the problem. The easiest place to check is the relay. If the relay is fine than the motor is failing.
My 2001 Kia Sportage rear driver window stuck. A friend removed the door panel and the wires were burned out along with the motor. We didn't replace we just disconnected.
i cannot fine which relay has turned off my fuel pump and i do not have power to my lights
Either the battery is not fine and has a dead cell, or something is on pulling power from the battery. Any light on or stuck relay will drain the battery overnight.
where is the asd relay on a 1992 plymouth voyager
If the fluid level is fine, but the power steering isn't working, it's possible the pump has gone out. Another possibility is that the power steering belt is broken or slipping. It may need to be replaced or adjusted.
The issue here sounds like it's the master cylinder failing. It is not retaining pressure when the engine is running. The reason they feel fine when the engine is not running is because the failing master cylinder is not getting power, and in essence is being bypassed.
use a test light see if theres power anywhere. could possible be fuse..doesnt have to be the relay you could have a bad ground? turn singal lights on go to trunk test wire for power..steve
Does power reach the window motor? Yes it does, now I found that when you activate the unlock switch to the rear windows (allowing passengers to use) the relay gets hot. when you lock them out, the relay works fine. The motor and power to the windows lessons when the lock is unlocked. Is there any binding if you you move any of them manually?
