Hi I have a 1999 Kia Sportage it has no power under acceleration. but run fine in park and when you get up to speed.
A damaged catalytic converter can do that.
Button on side of gear shifter is pushed in!
75 80 90 gear lube is fine
holds it in that perticular gear.
If it will not go into gear, but the other gears work fine it would be the synchros and if it looks like it is in 4th gear and feels like it is in 4th gear then it could be that the gear selector is not aligned properly and the car is not in gear although it looks like it is. Also, if it looks to be in gear and doesn't work and the motor just revs freely, then all of the teeth on the gear itself could be work off.
Could be clogged converter in the exhaust system..
4L is the low gear in 4WD, 4H is the high gear. Most of the time, 4L is all you'll need to get out when stuck.
I have no idea but mine does the same thing. Shifting into 3rd gear I guess 80 -100km/h in cold weather only. As soon as it heats up it shifts fine. The sportage is programmed not to shift to 3rd until the engine is at least 155 degrees
You can not. The pump is need for proper operation of the steering gear.
What is the gear ratio on a 1996 2wd suburban 1500?
Electronically Controlled Automatic Transmission. On my '98, it has 2 options: ECO for economy and PWR for power. The power position holds each gear a little longer, going to higher RPM's for more hill climbing, passing and accelerating power.
the only place you put gear oil is in the rear end. Look on the differential and on the back there is a large nut, remove it to put in the CORRECT gear oil.
Low gear.
