I have no idea but mine does the same thing. Shifting into 3rd gear I guess 80 -100km/h in cold weather only. As soon as it heats up it shifts fine.
The sportage is programmed not to shift to 3rd until the engine is at least 155 degrees
You didn't state weather it was an Automatic or Manual transmission. Well any way they are both on the transmission. Manual transmission has a separate switch for the backup lights the automatic is built into the neutral safety switch on the transmission. Automatic switch is about $50.00. Manual switch is about $10.00. Hope you have a manual it is a lot cheaper.
the best time to use it is in slippery weather... like snow or ice when driving at slow speeds
If you are not driving up or down hills, or in start & stop traffic, bad weather etc. I wouldn't recommend it.
It stands for Automatic Weather Incorperated Plcae Society! It has to do with weather!
John Deere all-weather hydrostatic fluid or an equivalent type "F" automatic transmission fluid
It depends on weather its 4x4 or 2 wheel drive there are 8 0n 4x4 and 6 on 2 wheel drive
yes this is how the transmission works is is most generally used to start out in bad weather such as snow to keep the rpms of the vehicle down to provide more traction to the weels to keep them from spinning
No, the automatic in the new mustang gt is full automatic, not manumatic. it does have gears for diffrent weather, but it is not a manumatic.
Automatic choke stuck open
Sounds like the transmission filter is partially clogged. The colder temperature makes the fluid thicker and it flows less easily through the filter in cold temperatures. Have the transmission serviced. Change all the fluid and the filter. I would not recommend you have the transmission flushed as you more than likely have lots of miles on this vehicle. Flushing the transmission at this juncture may stir up trouble. Just drain and refill.
No, fiber optics are cables ran from underneath the ground. The weather will not affect it.
This warning actually spells ICY... It is an automatic indicator to warn of ICY roads and weather conditions. This warning actually spells ICY... It is an automatic indicator to warn of ICY roads and weather conditions.
