I have a 2006 Nissan frontier and on mine the clutch safety switch is located at the very bottom of the clutch pedal travel. That is to make sure you push the clutch all the way in when you start so you can't accidentally crank it over in gear and drive into a wall (Seen it done twice by two different coworkers in an older Dodge w/o the clutch switch!!)
