If your talking about your "engine heater", in general, seriously, it's to keep you from forgetting about it and driving off and damaging the heater and/or your AC outlet and/or having the extension cord trailing behind you.
Some oil heaters just have a heating element in the oil so it's just wasting electricity and WON'T make it warm up any faster if you leave it hooked up after you start it.
Some have a heater hooked inline with the coolant hose and may have an impeller driven by the AC power and when you start it up the extra pressure from the pump will over-speed the fan, when you unplug it the impeller will just run in neutral as it were. (I don't know if they still make those of not) Check your manual and it should give a reason.
it really dosent matter, just be sure to unplug it before you drive off.
Fill up the fuel filter with diesel fuel before you try starting it.
the oil
it means starting of diesel engine
The diesel fuel may have jelled.
NO you do not have 2 unplug a cell phone b4 answering it
They preheat the air in the cylinder to make starting easier. they actually heat the diesel fuel to make starting easier
It will be dead for shure. It will set codes recomend fixing problem.
No, never put diesel in a gasoline engine it will foul up the sparkplugs in your engine, clog it up, and make it smoke alot. Cold Diesel in a diesel engine isn't too good either because when diesel gets cold it gels up, that is why most diesel engines have a built in heater to warm up the engine and fuel before starting. Hope this helps
Diesel has highest ignition temperature.. So only diesel cant be used in petrol engine
