Because it just does. That's why.
Your rear tire could be making a knocking sound for a number of reasons. You could have a damaged strut or axle that needs replacing.?æ
Worn Ball Joint
you hear it knocking. When you raise the tire off the ground, if you can wiggle the tire from side to side with all the lugs tight... you have hub problems.
Half shafts?
That sounds like a broken or loose strut assembly.
Check the lug nuts and make sure they are all tight. If that's not it, it could be CV joints.
the thing that causes a clunk when you turn means that the break pad isn't turning all the way with the car tire and it is slightly knocking on the inner tire or something along those lines
Tie rod
simply secure the spare tire and jacking hardware,, then get rid of the JUNK in your trunk.! If that doesn't do it then the noise is probably not coming from the trunk but from underneath where the rear suspension is. Have a mechanic check for loose/worn struts/shocks,linkages,brake parts,WHEELS etc. Good luck!
you could have a wire broke in the tire
On a 2002 mc ls pull the head light switch in and out 3 times and you should hear a dinging sound letting you know you have reset low tire pressure sensor.
Tire noises like a warping sound are a result of it being out of round. This happens when the tire is unbalanced or the front end is out of alignment.
