Why do you save your money?

we save our money to have a better and a secured future. You save money for lots of reasons. I save my money because I want to make my kitchen look newer. I could put it on a credit card but that means that I would have to pay more for cabinets and all the other stuff than if I saved for it. For example a new floor is going to cost me $700.00 Let's say I only make $300.00 a week Now that looks like I could by my floor in 3 weeks $300.00 $300.00 $300.00 Only I need to eat and pay for the electric and pay for the gas to drive to my job. so pretend I only have $50.00 to save fo my floor So that will take me 14 weeks to buy my floor BUT if I save in a savings account then I get interest which means that the bank gives me money for keeping my money with them. So I will get my floor a little sooner But IF I put it on a credit card then I OWE interset AND the $700.00 dollars and that means I will take even longer to pay off my floor.
