are you definitely sure it smells like gas? because sometimes your car can smell really bad, and that's caused by a petrol spill on the engine that gets burnt while you're driving. i think you should definitely get it checked out by a mechanic though, just incase its something serious.
your vehicle may smell like antifreeze while driving because it is overheating
If you have been around it recently, the fumes tend to stay in the nasal passages for a long while. Bleach fumes are not a good thing to breathe in.
If the car is filling with exhaust fumes, that is a health hazard, and is almost certainly caused by a broken or leaky exhaust pipe.
Because instead of having the fumes flow with the air into your nostrils, your pushing it away.
If you're referring to a jolting sensation while traveling in the car, it's probably kangaroo petrol.
Some glues are not healthy to smell. Some others don't matter. Many give of nasty fumes while curing, particularly the acrylics and cyanoacrylates.
Find the leak, and fix it. theirs no leakge bra.
Obviously you have a fuel leak somewhere.
Sounds like your oxygen sensor may be out.
Barring any fuel leaks I would say that your charcoal canister is probably in need of replacement. they can fill up with liquid after some time making them useless and will smell of gas. Also it may be an exhaust leak if it is not an actual gasoline smell.
All that I know is that I've been smelling antifreeze fumes in my car for weeks but ignored the smell. While driving one day for approx. 45 minutes, I became progressively dizzier, lightheaded, woozy, nauseous, had a headache, and just felt terrible! (I considered going to the hospital because I felt that badly.) When I arrived home, the onslaught of symptoms I had experienced disappeared about 45-90 minutes later. After not being exposed to antifreeze fumes for 3 days now, I feel like a new person. Coincidence? I think not.
