Octavian, Lepidus and Mark Antony formed a triumvirate to dispose of Caesar's assassins, and split the Roman Empire between them - Lepidus got North Africa, Antony the east, and Octavian western Europe. After the assassins were disposed of, here was a falling out - first Lepidus was eliminated, then Antony caused trouble, went to Egypt and it ended up in open warfare. If Antony went under, so would she who had taken sides with him.
i think it was in Egypt :)
Somewhere in Egypt I think.
he put then in the pyramid she was already in (i think!! sorry if i am wrong)
I think she lived in Alexandria, Egypt.
Pharaohs of Egypt were great. And Cleopatra was a pharaoh... or queen of Egypt. Yeah man...
I don't think there was a girl king in Egypt, but there was a few girl queens and pharaohs. Like, Cleopatra.
18 ( i think )
I think her biggest challenge was one that she couldn't meat. It was her failed attempt to manipulate Octavian into feeling sorry for her and forgiving her.
i don t know but i think she let it fall
Sort of. He was talked into "marrying" Cleopatra, but some scholars think this was symbolic of their political alliance, since Antony already had a Roman wife, who was Octavian's sister. Antony also knew Roman law and knew his Egyptian "marriage" would not be recognized in Rome because Cleopatra was a foreigner. It wasn't until six years after his "marriage" to Cleopatra, that he divorced his Roman wife, and that was when the break with Octavian was almost certain.
i think because she was their queen! <3 <3 thanks!
