1)Fuse blown (Consult owner's manual) 2)open circuit (broken wire somewhere within the entire path, from tail light to battery!) 3)Faulty Lamp Failure Sensor (e.g., the little yellow box behind the carpeting in the driver's side of the trunk of my 1991 Camry) It's tough...just repaired the box (fixed brake lights); everything was fine, until the next day...now the taillights, dash lights are out, as the fuse keeps blowing. MAY be related, but everything worked fine (after the first repair) for 24 hours... Electrical stuff CAN be tough...if you're lucky, it may be simple. Good luck. FACE
well u could have 1 of 3 problems.. 1, u blew a fuse so check all fuses. 2, your light switch has gone bad, this is the switch you turn to turn on dash an headlights located on the left side of the dash, or 3, the wiring to the plug on the vehicle has gone bad.. your best bet is to go to a junkyard an cut the plug off a car identical or similar to your car, splice the wire, and wire in the new plug. Good Luck ;)
Dash lights normally go out when you have a blown fuse. Try changing bulbs. After replacing bulbs if the problem consist change fuse. If neither work then you may have electrical problems.
CHECK THE FUSE PANEL DASH & TAIL LIGHTS WORK FROM SAME FUSE
The lights may not work because the wires for the lights is not pluged in or you blew a fuse.
Probably the "gauge" fuse is blown. The dash lights are a completely separate circuit.
The illumination lights are replaceable. You will need to remove the dash cluster to gain access to them.
replace burn out dash lights bulbs.make sure to put them in the same hole they came from.I did not and my turn signals did not work till i got the bulbs in the right place.dont know if this will help but you said dash board lights and this is my story.
Check the fuses.
Yes.
all other lights on car work ,just no dash lights, could it be a fuse?
CHECK THE FUSE PANEL DASH & TAIL LIGHTS WORK FROM SAME FUSE
Check your fuse. Usually the manufacturer has the dash lights and the tail lights on the same circuit.
The first check would be the fuse for the dash lights. If the dash lights are out too then it is likely to be the fuse.
Headlight switch (IT) controls the dash lights ALSO.Some have a fuseable link..ASSUMEING all the bulbs are g00d..
in dash lights
Fuses?
check the fuse for dash lights
4x4 dash lights on a Dodge Durango don't work
Most likely a fuse.
