to draw energy from batteries for HI beam instead of low beam, its kind of like saying why cant i jog when i start to run
low beams
Low beams
Exactly, and this is normal.Exactly, and this is normal.
I think the low beam lamps have two filaments. So it's possible that those low beam filaments in the "low beam" lamps are burnt out. When the headlights are on dim, only the two outside bulbs burn. When the high beams are on then all four will burn.
Believe it or not, you might have 2 BURNT OUT LOW BEAMS. Ive seen that a few times.
hmm as you ask what happened to high beams, i am going to assume that low beam works. id this is correct i would say that your low/high beam switch needs replacing
the high beam indicator is only on when the high beams are on
High beams are the "bright" setting of your headlights. The reason they are sometimes referred to as "high beams" is because when they are on high beam or bright setting, the lights are directed straight out, instead of a bit more downwards as they are on "low beam" or "dim".
your bulbs are burnt out. when you switch on the high beams its only the high beams. but when you flash your brights it lights up both high and low beams.
Using low beam headlights and front facing fog lights.
Most likely the vehicle has separate low-beam and high-beam headlight bulbs and you simply have one low-beam bulb that is burnt out.
