Tailights or stoplights? Stop lights could be a defective stop light switch Tailights could be either parking lights are left on or a defective switch
Something is wrong with my 1991 Toyota Corolla Dx's trunk latch. It will not let me close the lid shut and it stay shut. It will not stay latched. There is nothing no obstruction. Can you help me? Thanks
The 1991 Toyota Corolla cooling fan will stay on all the time if the temperature sensor is malfunctioning. Replace the temperature sensor.
Check the brake light switch located under the 1989 Toyota Corolla. If the switch is stuck the parking light will continue to stay on.
A malfunctioning brake light relay switch will cause your 1993 Toyota Corolla brake lights to stay on all the time. The brake light relay switch is located beneath the drivers side dashboard.
The taillights are supposed to go on when the headlights are activated.
The brake switch on a 1999 Corolla should be on the top of the brake pedal arm. If the switch goes bad, then the brake lights might stay on, or not come on at all.
I had to use duck tape till I could order all new clips from a Toyota dealer. They were EXPENSIVE too.
If engine is running then the answer is yes. And pressure will stay in the fuel line for some time after you shut the engine.
coolant temp switch or fan relay are bad.
This is the best advise you will get. go to a Toyota dealer (Not any aftermarket parts store) and but a Toyota reman alternator. If you put an aftermarket alternator, you will have problems again. That's good advise from a former Toyota technician. Good luck.
WHY does WHAT stay on?
It may be as simple as a brake light switch. You may need to find a shop manual for your vehicle to find out the location of the switch or possibly even get the information from the dealer.
