More likely it is stock that is how they came with the 4 cylinders. they fire in sequence for more complete combustion.

Pull them out and replace them one at a time.
I'd replace the wires on at a time. I have a special plug wire puller pliers that helps to avoid breaking the wires if you can't get them off the sparks plug.
there is no drain plug, you have to remove the whole cover to drain fluid.
