It seems as though the US is always involved in war because for the most part they always are. The motivations are simple, power and money(aka greed). War is a very important component to the US economy, without it they would have an even larger debt. Contributing factors for this situation include: A high level of corruption, a lack of education, Propaganda(everywhere), their insecure nature, etc. No war for the US may be possible in the future when the current generation dies off. The next generation is brighter, more humane, less corrupt and eager to live in a peaceful society. I live in Canada, its not much better here, you guys manufacture and then initiate the wars, it seems we are just there for the tag team.

The U.S.A. as of 9/14/10 is NOT in any war at all.

For the United States, Article One, Section Eight of the Constitution says "Congress shall have power to ... declare War". The Iraq War is a military campaign that began on March 20, 2003, with the invasion of Iraq by a multinational force led by troops from the United States and the United Kingdom.

The United States invaded Iraq to overthrow the government of Saddam Hussein. U.S. troop levels have dropped to just below 50,000, fulfilling an Obama administration pledge to move from combat to stability operations.

On the last day of the official U.S. combat mission in Iraq, there was no dancing in the streets, no celebratory gunfire and no sense that a milestone had been reached.
