It depends on what it is telling you to check. If it is telling you to check your oil or battery, then that's plain enough. If it is the ever-annoying Check Engine light, that's different. This light actually has very little to do with the engine; it is measuring the emissions system. The number one issue with this believe it or not is your gas cap is not on tight enough. Make sure your gas cap goes at least 3 clicks next time you fill up, and there's a decent chance it will clear. Or you could have a gobbed-up catalytic converter, so I'd hope for #1 Phil
