Actually, there are. Of course, a lot of answers can be improved, and you're welcome to add your input.
Unfortunately, there are some rude people who occasionally mess up the decent answers.

The terrible answers are given by immature children who find it funny to post such material.
We have a dedicated team of Supervisors on Answers.com who actively seek and remove this bad content.
However you need to bear in mind that there are just over 1,000 international Supervisors patrolling the website and millions of international visitors. Therefore as you can imagine, some things do slip through our fingers.
In that case, we ask that you report the bad answer by clicking the flag, which is at the top of the page next to the question itself.
Answers.com mainly prides itself for their team of expert answerers and educational programs. It is only a very small minority who feel they need to ruin that for people.
