Without more info, sounds like a dirty carb. Probably hard to get into reverse also. Clean and adjust the carb. Check the rubber hose that connects the carb to the engine. Could be loose clamps or worn out. Sucking air there would also cause the problems.
I am not sure what to do if your Grizzly 600 Yamaha will not start. You can try taking it to a shop and having it worked on.
under the seat where the throdle screws in the carb, there is an adjustment screw, turn right and it increases the idle. it worked for me. do it while running. It is a large flat head screw that is on the throttle body control mechanism. Not on the carburetor itself.

Usually the spark plugs or the timing.
it probably wont line up correctly with the top end
