Since the heater core is heated with hot coolant, it could be that the thermostat is stuck and not opening. You may also see the engine overheating in this case. Or, the heater core itself, which is finned like the radiator, is plugged with particles. Try backflushing the collant system. Lastly, if you need to replace the heater core, it disconnects with 4 screws on the passenger side under the dash. They are relatively inexpensive - approximately $25 USD at this time.
The heater coil and a heater core is the same thing. Hot water circulates from the engine and through the heater core then back to engine generating heat for your heater system.
Your heater core is leaking. This is the part of your car that creates heat for the passenger compartment of your car. There is no fix for a leaking heater core except to replace it.
hi,most likely you have low coolant level in radiator,at idle you have an air space in heater core, causing poor heat, when you move and engine speed increases, water fills heater core, you get heat,.another possible cause is a clogged heater core, but check fluids first.
check both heater hoses under the hood with engine at running temp. if only one hose is hot your heater core is restricted( try flushing it out),m low coolant will also cause no heat since the heat comes from the hot coolkant in the heater core. if both hoaes are hot chances are the blend air door in the interior heat unit is faulty or climate control is not calling for heat.
I guess since you were able to flush water through the core there is no blockage or valve to give you trouble. Are the heater hoses hot when the engine is at operating temperature? that is how you know that you have circulation through it. I am going to assume yes since nothing else you said would lead me to believe otherwise. Now you need to check the blend door in the heater. If it is stuck on vent or AC then you will get no heat. The actuator may be bad or the door may be just stuck from humidity.
HEATER WISE? YOUR HEATER CORE MAY BE BLOCKED
Low water in the radiator will result in no heat. The water level is not sufficient to reach the heater core. The heater core will become cold.

replace the heater core if that's not it start checking fuse
Not unless your heater core leaks.
The heater core is leaking for sure.Unless you have an extra $300 lying around, you can have your core hoses rerouted, for around $50.Of course you wont have any heat,(who needs it! it is summertime!)
A very basic answer is: The hot water the engine produces is circulated thru the heater core. The heater core looks like the autos radiator only smaller. The heater core is located inside the heater box. So as the engines hot water circulates thru the heater core the heat will transfer into the heater box. As long as the engine is running and everything is working properly the heater core will stay hot inside the heater box.
normally you have no heat and,or water on the passenger floorboard
A heater core is a smaller version of the radiator that allows water used in the cooling system for the engine to be used to heat the interior of the vehicle.
The heater core is a small radiator inside the car under the dash that hot water circulates through to heat the inside of the car.
No , if you were to bypass the heater core , you would have no heat
Can a bad heatercore cause antifreeze to come out overflow jug. And heat go off and on.
