Caprice and Impala are effectively the same car, but with different options. There are many, many more Caprices in the world than Impalas, and with exterior differences just trim pieces, a lot of people will try to turn their workaday Caprices into zoomy Impalas by changing out the rims and trim. Inside the car, it's a matter of leather seats, a floor shifter, and some other appointments that are also fairly easy to change out.
The biggest difference is that all Impalas, but only a very few Caprices, had the 5.7 liter V8 with dual exhausts. Most Caprices had the L99 4.3 liter V8 (which is exactly the same, but with smaller cylinder bores and maybe different pistons) and a single exhaust.
Yes.
I believe all 96 Caprice came with a lt1 engine. So if it the lt1, the stock hp would be 260. Same exact engine that is in the Impala SS for 94 95 96.
yes,but that's dumb those wheels are ugly find some 94-96 impala ss rims or just buy some 20's your gonna do it down the road anyways
Yes they will fit , but you will need to do a lot of bodywork and trim swap on the interior. You will be left with a gap where the 94's glass was down in the corner
The 4.3L is a 265 C.I. 8 cylinder engine was used in the 94-95 Caprice and Impala's As for the chip.. http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/shop_parts/performance_chip/chevrolet/caprice.html

The water lines on the 95 Chevy Caprice include the lines that lead from the window washer fluid to the windshield. There are also water lines that lead to the water pump on the Caprice.
