I think its other way round... The sweet things tastes sweeter when they are cold while the spicy things tastes spicier when they are hot. This is because the tongue tissues meant for cold and sweet taste are same, also the tissues for spicy and hot taste are same.

How can you make coffee sweeter without adding too much sugar or any sweetener?

You can add a small amount of water to the coffee. This makes the taste milder, and if you add sugar to the dulled coffee the sugar will stand out more. Adding water to the coffee will also cool it down faster so you can drink it right away, perfect for mornings when you are running late.

Is sugar an ingredient of bread?

Yes. Usually you will only find normal sugar in either all-natural or home-made bread. Most commercial breads will use 'High Fructose Corn Syrup' as the sweetener. It is the reason that you will notice a sweeter taste amongst store bought bread. The amount of sweetener that is added to commercial bread products is ridiculous, and unnecessary. Perhaps it is one of many reasons that conditions like diabetes have become epidemics.
