Try getting it recharged.
Outside at the condenser.
Yes, my machine has a hot fill.
Locate the "low" pressure side and fill the freon while the car is in idle with the AC on high. Make sure you have the AC light on and try filling to 40psi, wait 24hrs then fill if you think more is needed. Remember if the clutch stops working then you have put too much. try discharginh from the high side slowly. GOOD LUCK
It is not easy. The low pressure port is down low, close to the radiator, in the front. You almost cannot help burning your hand on the hot radiator, as you fill the AC system. It must be running when you do this. Try staring the engine, and clipping on and filling it very quickly, before the radiator gets hot. Don't try filling without a pressure valve, and take your time, shaking the can while holding it upside down.
You probably have your AC on. This draws more current from the alternator. You can have a loose alternator belt, or a bad alternator. Try it with AC off. (if this is what you're doing)..Tom
If the motor is cold fill to the full cool mark if the motor is hot fill to the hot mark!
No, not all dishwashers are cold fill machines. Many older model dishwashers have a hot fill design. Only newer models are considered to be more advanced and have a cold fill design for energy efficiency.
hot filled dishwasher
your car ac will only blow hot air when there coolannt in the car is finished or the car is oveerheated.
You can fill the AC on the low pressure side of the AC unit. Make sure and only use R12 unless your system has been converted to R134A.
