What is the Difference between internal combustion engines and diesel engines?

There is no difference. Both are internal combustion engines. I think I know what you're asking though. A gasoline engine uses spark ignition and a diesel engine uses compression ignition. The gasoline engine needs an spark or other heat source to ignite the fuel air mixture in the cylinders. The diesel engine ignites the fuel air mixture by compressing it in the cylinders until it combust's from the heat produced when the cylinder's volume is decreased. In an external combustion engine, the working fluid is heated by burning fuel, then introduced into the expansion chamber to produce power e.g. a steam engine.

Why diesel engine does not take vacuum as a source of vacuum system?

The engine does not produce enough vacuum to be usable.

Does an mpfi engine replace spark plug?

No. Spark plugs remain in Petrol engines. MPFI stands for Multi Point Fuel Injection, thus replacing the carburetor with injectors. Petrol engines need a source for ignition unlike Diesel engines, where the ignition happens due to compression.

What source of thermal energy does a car's engine use?

The combustion of gasoline or diesel fuel

Who discovered biofuel?

The history is a little vague; but the two prominent people who first "discovered" and applied bio-diesel were George Washington Carver and Rudolf Diesel. Rudolf Diesel was the creator of the Diesel Engine and he ideally envisioned the diesel engine being used with a bio-fuel source. On a side note, he actually presented a diesel engine running on peanut oil in the Paris Exhibition in 1889. George Washington Carver worked with Henry Ford to create a bio-diesel engine; however, at the time petrol-diesel was more easily accessible and cheaper than to produce a bio-diesel fuel source.

Where can I get Chevy diesel engine parts?

Go straight to the source: Chevrolet. Contact any Chevrolet dealership auto repair and parts department and you can order various diesel engine parts.

Has a heat source located outside the engine?

External combustion engine is the answer you're looking for.

Has a heat source that is located outside the engine?

There are many heat sources located outside of an engine. One of these sources is the sun in the sky.

What does an internal combustion engine run on?

an internal combustion engine means the source for ignition burns internally so the power gets soon without any loss. an external combustion means the source of ignition was outside so there was loss so less efficiency. an internal combustion engine means the source for ignition burns internally so the power gets soon without any loss. an external combustion means the source of ignition was outside so there was loss so less efficiency.
