pump haS BAD BEARING OR VANE old chevy and Ford pumps whine when you constantly run low on fuel when fuel is low there is nothing to keep fuel pump in tank cool so it fails faster when your fuel pump is not submerged in tank half tank or more will increase pump life also a clogged fuel filter will strain pump and cause failure
