Have a 1990 1500 long bed extended cab had similar problem, tires balanced no bent wheels, no bad universal joints or motor mounts.........finally found transmission mount was broken in two, wold only shimmy at about 45-55 mph in normal drive on flat level road either just slightly accelerating or decelrating..........ended up finding it with a laptop and usb ball camera hanging under truck to watch driveline while in motion, saw the tail shaft shaking and lifting.........got her home and threw a jack under the tail and sure enough mount was broken, replaced..........smooth as glass now
Have used the camera ball a couple of time for different problems, especially those hard to find ones like partially blocked cat or bad ball joint..........
