Why does my 1989 acura legend crank but won't start in the afternoon after engine is warm about 5 percent of the time It has started everytime after waiting about 10 minutes?

It could be an injector that leaks built up fuel pressure while the engine is off. Once the fuel evaporates or seeps past the pistons, the engine starts again. A simple fix might be to add some injector cleaner for the next few fillups.
