If it's manual, either the handle is broken, the window regulator is stripped, or the glass is broken and missing.
If it's electric, either the switch is bad or the lift motor is bad. Or the glass is missing.

it should be located on the back passenger side of the tranny...mine just went and my bronco wont shift gears it stays in second... i plan on fixing it tomorow

To remove the window in the rear hatch of a 1989 Ford Bronco, the weather stripping around the window will have to be pulled back or pushed down slightly. This can be accomplished with a straight screwdriver or a putty knife.
It's about this wide and about yay so tall...

If its the bronco XLT you'll have to take the tail gate paneling off the inside. The motor, gears, etc. for the rear window are located in there. I had the same problem with mine sometime back.
The pcv should be on the passenger side back behind the intake.
To put a passenger side window back on track on a Ford Expedition you should first carefully remove any old silicone. Next put the window back on track, and use Gorilla glue or silicone to secure it. Do not put the window down for at least 24 hours.
Probably need to replace the window regulator.
