Why does my 2004 Chevy trailblazer low beams go out at night but high beams work?

had same problem replaced solid state relay number 46 its black and has the following numbers on it 15016745 it is located in the fuse box in the engine compartment this will solve the problem of the low beam headlights turning off by themselves while driving at night.
