Why does my 96 blazer feel like its running out of gas on freeway almost daily now and If i press gas check engine light comes on and I pull over then bout 10 mins later it will start right back up?

It sounds like your catalytic converter is plugged, when it sets for awhile some of the blockage falls away and allows flow then when you accelerate it blows back up to plug the exhaust flow.
