Check your headlight knob, if it is turned too far, it will leave the dome lights on. Just back if off, you'll feel the click when you turn the knob. If that is not it, then see a certified mechanic.

First, the oil change has nothing to do with the check engine light. The EGR may have not been the problem. You need to have the codes read and diagnose from there.
Probably a bad or mis-adjusted brake light switch
Oil level is low. Serious engine damage will occur if this is not corrected. Check the oil level!
Bad sending unit
Have you checked the brake fluid level in your brake master cylinder in your engine compartment ? a low level will turn on your brake light in the dash
Have vehicle scanned to see if any codes are stored to determine the problem
